Mike Martin is a veteran of the Atlanta jazz music scene who has played on and off with Sean Delson for years.  Mike is the Mechanic Of Shred and everyone in Fozzy refers to him as SIR!  If Steve Vai and Joe Satriani had a crack baby, he might play like Mike.  Mike's first appearance for Fozzy was in the multi camera, high tech shoot for the Enemy video on top of a San Diego skyscraper and his next appearance was in the downstairs of a restaurant at a Fozzy gig in Camp Hill, PA (that started only after a high school reunion that took place before the show was done)...and he rocked just as hard at both!!!!

Hello Fozzy Fanatics!

The Year in Review / The New CD "2 of 5" is Available Now!

Hey Guys!

What an amazing year. Touring Australia, The USA, Canada, Europe and The UK! It almost seems like a dream. I've met so many cool people in all of these different countries. Thank you to everyone who has come out to support The Foz!

In between touring duties I've managed to record my first Instrumental Rock CD- "2 of 5". It has been a labor of love and I have to thank Rich for all of his help and support in making this record. He's a genius for sure and the record sounds amazing thanks to his encouragement, advice and influence.

This record was made right here in the ATL with the help of some amazing folks.

Eric Frampton - you know and love him from The Duke CD - "My Kung-Fu Is Good". He provided all of the Keyboards and Raisinettes.
John McKnight - my brother from ATL that has been playing with me for the last seven years on drums.
Jon Schwenke - my other brother that has been playing Bass with me over the last seven years.
Steve Mays - a wonder of nature on bass! He brought the Fretless and Prog skills to the low end.

I truly could not have made this record without these people. I owe them a debt of gratitude that will last a lifetime. I can't wait for you to hear their performances!

What's Next?

While Fozzy is on a bit of a hiatus ( with the exception of the Sept. show! ) I am doing limited shows around the East Coast of the US and looking forward to some potential dates in the UK this winter. The writing never stops around here so there will be more to come in the near future.

Everyone keeps asking me about the next Fozzy record. I have no news on this front other than to tell you that after touring with the guys for the last year and a half, I'm excited about getting in the studio with the band. When the time comes there will be news. Oh yes! There will be news!

For now, keep in touch. I've been getting on the forum more and more over the last few weeks and enjoy being in contact with all of you. We've got some of the best fans anywhere. I truly mean that. You guys are awesome! Thank you all so much for being supportive and interactive with us. You guys make it all worth it. If it weren't for you, I'd be working for Delson.....Damn!

 Peace and Love,
 Mike Martin
